Just a quick note my dear to say get your tickets for Hoerenbal NOW ..... its going to be murder on the door.

Its all go here my dears ....
This Wednesday its the ‚Dorothy Glamour Burger Night and Cocktail Party’ in Getto from 19:30 onwards ....
Saturday its ‚Hoerenbal - the Trolly Dolly Edition’ .... including a performance by me of one of my beloved inspirational ballads ....
There will probably be a ‚Deal Or No Deal’ sometime next month just to welcome in the Summer properly .....
June 8th is ‚Nieuwe Haring Dag’ (New Herring Day) in the Engel which will probably mean me handing out the slimy little buggers to you all ........
It also happens to be Paul’s birthday that day but we intend to celebrate it the next Sunday the 13th in the Engel of course .... more details later ....
June 19th is ‚FruitCake - the second helping’ ...... another extraordinary evening awaits us once more in the COC with a perfomance from myself and many others ....
and the next day (and I can’t believe I’m saying this) I’m performing at Club Church during Amen ....
Let’s hope I make it to July ......

Surprise! Supersize(d)!
My very dear friends DJ Bramsterdam and DJ Big General invited me to repeat our Queensday FurBall Outdoor success at Club Church this Saturday (tonight!).
So get on your dancing shoes/pumps/clogs and I’ll see you there from 23:00 onwards until way past my bedtime ....

The Dorothy Glamour Burger Night at Getto!
I’m not a chef my dears, not even a cook really - to be brutally honest I leave all the cooking at home to my nephew who has all the skills to be a perfect husband but no husband to try them out on .... so in the mean time I take advantage of him (that doesn’t sound quite right does it?).
Anyway .... Wednesday 26 May from 19:00 onwards its my turn to host the Burger Queens Night at the Getto. Jennifer’s had hers, Windy too, not sure about Mayday but I’m sure she’s had her fair share in the past (that doesn’t sound quite right either does it?)
There’s not unlimited room to sit and eat at the Getto but of course there’s always plenty of room to drink .... something I can always rely on with the family around of course (that does sound right doesn’t it?)
I’ll be singing a few songs but no-one’s expecting me to carry plates which is a relief to all involved.

RoB and the Homomonument

When they asked me to sing for René’s birthday they forgot to mention that it was above the RoB store in the Warmoesstraat!
Now god knows my nephew has known Martijn voor years (and I suppose that should have made me suspicious to start off with) but nothing could have prepared me for what was inside! Good grief children - all that toy and playground material!
René is loved by many people, and respected by many more, firstly for his qualities as a human being and secondly for his talents as a photographer.
Love you my darling.
Had a lovely time at the Homomonument yesterday despite the freezing conditions .... but it was for a good cause and I hope that lots of money was raised for the Homomonument Association.
I’m sorry that it was just the one song my dears - maybe next time the organisation might consider asking me to do more - but in the meantime here’s a fabulous video made by my dear friend, Jan.

Liberation Day!

I love being liberated - don’t you?
The 5th of May is once again the chance for me to express my Freedom in this (still) wonderful city, and so should you ....
Freedom is not something that can be kept - it has to be won every time anew - so come and celebrate your own victory this wednesday at the Homomonument!
I’ll be there at 18:00 with Jennifer Hopelezz and the Family to raise money for the Homomonument Foundation .... and of course I’ll be singing while Jennifer digs deep into your wallets ....
See you all there!

Well my dears, what a day that was don’t you think?
I just can’t begin to express my gratitude to everyone who helped, supported and cheered us on yesterday.
There’s no way I’m going to make a list of everyone because I’m sure to miss someone out .... but of course I have to thank Paul and André from De Engel Van Amsterdam for giving me the opportunity to perform for you all....
Loads of photo’s in the albums my darlings, and I’ll see you all very soon!
